And Facebook Changes Again…
Facebook has become our life, hasn’t it? Anyone who started an account there usually ends up addicted, visiting the site at least once in a while, if not more than once per day to check and see what their friends or family are doing and thinking. We are all slaves, but it finds new ways to entertain us every day, with new applications and features.
What is our daily routine? Work or school, eat supper, t.v., check e-mail and Facebook… and lately like many people I’ve been doing that Facebook thing a lot. It’s part of our lives, our routine. Not using Facebook has become like not watching our six o’ clock news and weather (or eleven o’ clock for you owls out there). Something would just be missing. So when Facebook up and decides to change something, it affects us. I mean, when it went from “old” Facebook to the “new” Facebook so many of us were outraged, we even had a petition going ON Facebook with somewhere near a million people that thought the same. Now all they did was split our home screen into a list of headline’s from our friends and from activities and photo’s, yet I’m all upside down. Not everyone adapts to change that quickly. Do sports change every year? Does your t.v. show change every few months (unless a season ends)? Why can’t they just find the combination that works and stick with it.
Since I’ve joined Facebook, they have made at least three significant changes, and I’ve thought the changes made to the layout of the site more inefficient, and made the general use of Facebook more difficult than before the change. We may not have much of a choice, but it’s a pain none the less, and it’s given me enough grief to write an article about it. Leave your comments on what you think of the changes, or Facebook in general.
