Britney Spears Sold Out in Montreal

9 March 2009 by: Frederick Carle 2 Comments

Britney Spears is coming to Montreal live at the Bell Center on march 20th. The concert is now sold out but for you fans out there you can still get yourself some tickets via your local radio stations. I just heard this morning at the new hot 89.9 in Ottawa that they have a little contest that listeners can participate in to get the chance to win floor tickets for this show.

The critics for the Britney Spears Circus tour are pretty good. The common down point that always comes up is the lip singing but that’s just the usual for a pop concert and specially for Britney. However, critics say the show put out by the Circus crew is truly overwhelming to the point where you get more attracted by it than Britney herself or the music.

Although some critics feel the concert, filled with aerial acrobatics, special effects, and plenty of razzle dazzle, could have simply used a little more Britney and focused a bit more on the music. “At times, Britney herself is almost dwarfed by the spectacle. She’s almost lost in the sheer hugeness of the production around her,” said MTV’s James Montgomery. “She brought the circus to her hometown, and it was a huge, sold-out, screaming success.”

Britney Spears will also be hosting an after party at the Tribe Hyper Club 390 St-Jacques in Old Montreal. The party is 21+ and a dress code is in effect.

Come back after the 20th for more info on the Montreal Concert. Also feel free to drop us a comment if you’ve seen the show. Thanks
