Paying for education can be very harsh on a budget. Or should I say paying for education is a budget. For some people college and university fees can be so expensive that all the money made from working during the summer is gone with the wind. A year in college can cost for some, upwards of $15,000 dollars. Most students don’t make that kind of money and they rely on their parents to make up for the difference. The problem being most parents can barely make it through each month so paying for their kids education is almost unthinkable.

In North-America the education level is going down each year. Compared to countries like India which is experiencing one of the biggest growth in education level we should be ashamed of ourselves. Should we put the blame on the government? Maybe. Or at least we should try to do so. But the only way of doing so is to go before government in some sort of peaceful manifestation and demand change. I believe that in the United-States, President Obama will do a great job and help education in America.

The problem with this solution is the time needed to organize such a manifestation. You got to remember that time is money and for most student, they cant afford to take time away from work. And chances are nothing will result of it.

So what would be the solution to easier pay and go through college or university?

If you’re up for the challenge, you can join the military. They offer great programmes that pay for you tuition fees and give you a salary for a good quality of life. The down side of this is the years of service you owe the military once you graduate. If you ask me I’ll tell you don’t join the military if you don’t want the lifestyle involved.

You can start you own business. Some scholar institution offer great bursary for student to start their own business. It can be as simple as creating designs to print on tee-shirts that you can sell or as complicated as inventing a new product and finding investors to developer your idea. In this case not everyone has the abilities to do something like this but everyone can try.

My favorite way to pay for college or university is starting you website or blog. The down side of this one is not everyone will succeed and it takes a little while before you get good traffic in order to generate revenues. On the other hand, if it does succeed it can provide a good income that isn’t time consuming compared to starting you business. All you need is a computer and the Internet. If not you can always use a computer at school or in an Internet cafe. How do you make money with website? Well the best way is advertisement on the website. The best would be a blog that you update regularly. You can write about whatever you want. The best part is you can write what you truly think on your favorite subject. Starting a blog is free and easy to do. My favorite blogging platforms are WordPress and Blogger.

If you write enough you may even get to the point where a major blog would want to hire you to write on their blog. Some of these blog get in the millions of visitors every month. One of my friend was a law student and did exactly what I just told you and in his last year of school he got a huge offer to go write for one of the major blog and he decided to quit school write as a living. He his one of the happiest guy I know today.

I would like to invite readers to give ideas on ways to pay for College if you can think of any other and don’t be afraid to give your opinion on the ones I posted.
