Does anyone else feel that music is just being repeated every once in a while? I bet any avid music fan will remark at least one song that is just too similar to another. “The joker” by The “Steve Miller Band” has a few fans, like Shaggy’s hit “Angel”. Of course that is just one of many that sound like the song (Joker). Another one would be Coldplay’s “Viva la Vida”, and Joe Satriani’s “If I could fly”. That last one might be a little obscure, except they are in court right now, trying to settle just how alike they are. To see a comparison click here. You could say that all the melodies and rhythms have already been, played… I disagree, many good one’s have been played, but there is much left undiscovered. This video is a rant on the similarities in music and more precisely the song “Canon in D” by Pachelbel.
