IGN.com is reporting that the PSP Go is real. 

  While not exactly a PSP 2, the PSP Go is more of a refined unit, with a slide screen that when moved reveals the traditional buttons. A big change is that their is no UMD slot, that’s right you wont be able to directly plug your PSP games in and play, but it features a USB-micro slot that supposedly will allow you to transfer your bought PSP games to the Go.
