If I dig into my childhood memories I can remember my Saturday mornings sitting down in front of the TV watching the adventures of Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Dr. John Watson. Now many years later the ultimate mystery solving duo gets to hit the big screens.

The current release date is set on Christmas day of this year.

To make this even more interesting the four main characters are Robert Downey Jr. (Sherlock Holmes), Jude Law (Dr. John Watson), Rachel McAdams (Irene Adler) and Mark Strong (Lord Blackwood).

I think this is a great role for Robert after his success as Iron Man.

The flick should be keeping the audience on the edge of their seats and is sure to make the top of the box office. I can’t wait to see it.

And not to forget the very beautiful Rachel McAdams will give this movie the twist it need to be a success.
