Changing what you eat can boost your performance in bed
It’s obvious that the modern unhealthy American diet is the leading contributor to an epidemic of obesity. The root of this epidemic is causing an even bigger problem: a national sex crisis.

Changing what you eat can boost your performance in bed

It’s obvious that the modern unhealthy American diet is the leading contributor to an epidemic of obesity. The root of this epidemic is causing an even bigger problem: a national sex crisis.

In 1996, the average American had sex 138 times a year. Compare that to 2007, when people reported having sex just 85 times a year. That’s a staggering 38 percent decrease in a little more than a decade. Furthermore, psychologists estimate that as many as 1 in 5 couples are in a sexless marriage, which means sex less than 10 times a year. In other words, our sex drive is in a deep dive.

One of the big culprits, for both men and women, is obesity. As a person’s weight soars, their libido plummets due to biochemical changes that result in diminished bloodflow—there’s simply no sex without strong bloodflow. And even when Americans do manage to have sex, the extra weight they’re bringing to the bedroom also hinders their ability to have children—with men, it’s damaged sperm; with women, it’s ovulation problems.

With minimal changes to your daily diet, you can revitalize your sex life, thus improving your relationship. How you ask? By simply consuming filling foods with lower calories. This way you’ll begin to lose the weight thats lowering your sex drive. While improving your sexual attraction and perfomance with the nutrients found in the healthier foods.

Here are a few examples of food that are best for sex :

Smoothie for Him

The Built-to-Last Power Smoothie

1 cup blueberries
1 cup vanilla yogurt
2 Tbsp flaxseeds
1 cup orange juice
1 cup ice

Consider this man’s ultimate erection insurance. The main reason? It’s loaded with two of the most potent circulation enhancers out there: soluble fiber and antioxidants. Soluble fiber helps push excess cholesterol through your digestive system before it can be broken down, absorbed, and deposited along the walls of your arteries. Antioxidants attack free radicals before they have the chance to lower nitric oxide levels. And since nitric oxide helps deliver oxygen to your blood, the higher the level, the better your bloodflow.

Smoothie for Her

The Lusty Latte

2 shots of espresso (or 6 ounces of strong coffee)
1 cup skim milk
2 Tbsp dark chocolate syrup
1 cup crushed ice

More than just providing a caffeine buzz and a host of antioxidants, java increases bloodflow to your genitals, making sensitive nerve endings more easily accessed and stimulated. A Southwestern University study even found that female rats wanted more sex after a shot of caffeine. Add to that a big hit of calcium, another important contributor to effective bloodflow, and a swirl of chocolate, and you have a scintillating shake to wake up to. Chocolate contains a host of chemicals to brighten your mood, including anadamine, which targets the same receptors as THC, and phenylethylamine, which produces a cozy, euphoric feeling. It’s no wonder a new Italian study of 163 women shows that those who regularly eat chocolate report enhanced sex drive and sexual satisfaction.

Breakfast for Him

Cinnamon Buns

The scent of baked cinnamon buns turns a man on. That was the conclusion of neurologists following a unique experiment in which they monitored penile bloodflow in 25 medical students while the students sniffed different smells. The researchers exposed the students to a wide range of fragrances, from lily-of-the-valley to rose to musk, but found that cinnamon buns turned men on most. The scents of pumpkin pie, doughnuts, and black licorice also ranked high. Researchers speculate the smells may evoke a nostalgic memory that relaxes a man, making him more aware of sexual cues.

Breakfast for Two

Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich

The foolish see an Egg McMuffin; you should see the ingredients for sex. The combo provides extra zinc—a mineral that she needs to stay well lubricated and you need to keep producing semen—and niacin. This B vitamin is essential for the secretion of histamine, the chemical that helps trigger explosive sneezes and orgasms. It also has a perfect balance of fat, since studies have found that too much or too little dietary fat can decrease levels of libido-boosting testosterone.

Midmorning Snack

Ants on a Log (celery sticks with peanut butter and raisins)

It might be kids foods, but it has some very grown-up implications. Here’s why:

Celery
Every stalk of the stuff is packed with androstenone and androstenol, two pheromones that can help men attract women the way Tom Brady attracts tacklers. Every time you chew on a stalk of celery, you release these odor molecules, which helps boost your arousal, turning you on and causing your body to send off scents and signals that make you more desirable to women.

Peanut butter
Research shows that men with diets high in monounsaturated fat—the kind found in nuts—have higher testosterone levels than those who don’t eat enough of the healthy fat. Plus, nuts are also the best food source of arginine, an amino acid that improves bloodflow throughout your body—including below the belt.

Raisins
Raisins are loaded with lignans, phytoestrogens that play an important role in balancing hormones for women. They’re also a potent source of antioxidants, which help encourage bloodflow to the nether regions.

Snack for Her

4 Ounces of Unsweetened Cranberry Juice

There are about 8 million cases of urinary tract infections diagnosed each year in the United States, the majority of them occurring in sexually active women—sex can cause bacteria to spread upward into the bladder. Furthermore, 20 percent of women suffer from chronic urinary tract infections, increasing their risk of kidney infections. Ward off the painful infection and keep your sex life vital by drinking half a cup of unsweetened cranberry juice, a natural antibacterial, each day. Research shows that tannins in the juice decrease a woman’s risk of an infection by 34 percent.

If unsweetened juice is too bitter to stomach, try yogurt with “live active cultures.” The yogurt contains probiotic bacteria called Lactobacillus, which helps prevent the spread of E. coli in the urethra. Finnish researchers found that women who ate this type of yogurt three times a week were almost 80 percent less likely to have recently developed a UTI than those who ate it less than once a week.

Well a few days ago I decided to go one step up as far as price went to see if there would really be a difference in the rib quality. Believe me there was. I had to declare it the winner. Between all the places I’ve tried them, franchises and local restaurants, the best of the best came from “Bâton Rouge”. Perfectly cooked, fall off the bone meat, with just the greatest sauce.

Little did I know that when I woke up this morning I would be in a battle with pure evil. It was a dark and dreary day and the rain fell like bullets onto the windows ledge, creating a machine gun sound. Though the weather was awful the day did not announce to be, until the grumbling started, not thunder, but the growl of a stomach yearning for attention…

The plan was simple : take myself and a friend to what should be a nice brunch. All we had to do is decide where to go, and as we were in no mood to dink around looking for a place to go we agreed on Cora’s, and that’s when it got ugly.

We left at 11:45 a.m. hoping for a massive feast since we were 2 pretty hungry guys at this point. We arrive at Cora’s and find a nice parking spot close to the door, because we’re also trying not to get too wet on the walk to the place. And then we opened the door… and thats where we stopped. We could go no further, the lineup was past the first door and approaching the doorway we were standing in. We couldn’t believe it, it would be over 45 minutes of wait if we were going to ever get breakfast there and that would just be to sit down. The worst part of all though was the fact that there were empty tables! We could not wait, the hunger was too much. Confused and hungry we had to look for another option, so we headed to another franchise like breakfast place called Perkins. The parking seemed pretty full but since the place was huge we figured i’d probably be half empty anyways, but we were dead wrong. Filled to the door again, this time we couldn’t even see tables! In a fit of rage we set off again to what should be an empty Cora’s in a different part of town, after 15 minutes of getting every red light to get there we arrive and glance at the front door to see if we can spot people in line near the entrance, it seems clear. We walk up to and open the door. The waiting room is split up into 2 lines going on each side, both full right up to the door. We consider waiting this one out, realizing that if we’d of stayed in the first Cora’s we’d be eating by now. We look to our right, and this is where we see 4 empty tables out of the 6 on that side. We quickly leave head back to town for a pit stop before continuing our search. We find a Rockin’ Johnny’s Diner and figure they might not have breakfast but they should at least have lunch, which we’ll settle for because at this point it’s past 2 p.m. So we go in and there is actually room to sit (and a few cute waitresses… er… I mean servers (because we must be politically correct))! We are given the menus and I open the first page. Low and behold there is breakfast at this place! And in fine print it reads, breakfast is no longer served after 12:30 p.m.. I broke down into sob… All this fooling around and we could have drove here in 5 minutes from home. After getting a hold of myself i flip the page and start crying again, on this page they offer breakfast all day.

Now if you haven’t figured it out yet Cora is the evil I spoke of. I still can’t believe even for a franchise that it would be so understaffed that it would let tables be empty, thereby decreasing profit and customer satisfaction, for 1 person’s salary. That to me is just despicable. So I will vow never to go to any major franchise for breakfast ever again, unless it is absolutely necessary, and especially never Cora’s.

Heaven…

360 blog presents a how to guide for making a chocolate martini. If martini’s are a little too bitter for your taste or a little too “plain” this is a much sweeter option (pun intended). The chocolate martini is a great alternative to regular drinks and a great among the sweet ones, it wont be juicy or candy sweet, but actually chocolaty. There are many recipes to make this drink all with small alternatives but basically this is how its done…

Ingredients

- 1 chilled glass (not necessary but highly recommended)
- 1 mixer (you will have to shake this one since there is a difference in density in your mix)
- 2 oz Vodka
- Chocolate syrup (the amount to use is up to you but generally enough to cover the sides of the glass should be enough)
- 1.5 oz chocolate liqueur (in the below video they use Godiva)
- Ice

Make it happen!

You can start by putting some chocolate syrup around your glass on the sides so that the syrup wont just sink to the bottom, it being a higher density than the mix. Next you take your ice and put it in whatever mixer or method of mixing you have. Next you add the 2 oz. of vodka and 1.5 oz. of chocolate liqueur into the mix, shake well and pour it into your already chocolate covered martini glass. Enjoy!

Variations include rimming the glass with cocoa or putting a cherry in the martini and you can always try different liqueurs and change up the flavor, for instance you could make a raspberry martini. The options are endless!

For you visuals out there here’s a video to show how it’s done…

A great little 360 blog adventure, the fantasia party...

A great little 360 blog adventure, the fantasia party.

What is a fantasia party

A fantasia party is basically like taking your significant other and your friends to an adult product store, except the store comes to you. That’s right the party comes to you : a representative from either a store or company brings all kinds of adult products, some you can taste, some you can examine and others you’ve never even heard about.

The point of all this is to be able to examine these products from the comfort of you own home, so it might save you what could be an awkward situation at a public store. If your thinking “well buying these things in front of my friends wont make me more comfortable” that’s ok, because the purchases can be made in another room in complete privacy.

Here are some of the products you can find at these kinds of parties :

Lubricants, massage oils, Erotic female and male toys, board games, books…

Just about every type of product is usually available and others can be ordered. Another plus is that the company or store can feature some brand new products, for example we were lucky enough to see a new product that had just been shipped to the company 2 days prior to the actual fantasia party.

The how to guide to making your own fantasia party

These parties are also not that difficult to organize. Just obtain a number for a company or store that could come with all the products, then invite enough people so that it can be a worthy party (20 people or more would be suggested if you can fit everyone). A great thing to do is prepare a brunch so everyone can munch on goodies for a little intermission midway through the presentation. Another bonus is that the company will usually offer a bonus to the host for the sales. From what I’ve seen the host can receive up to 10% of the total sales in either a gift certificate or products from the company, not a bad kicker for an excellent afternoon party. So basically you could have your share of products for free is you have adventurous friends or just a great party, but if you do throw a fantasia party I’m sure you will enjoy it as much as we did. It is also a great thing for couples as well as single people.

Every one of 360 blog’s writers were on hand at this event, and we are looking forward to the next event of this type if we aren’t hosting it ourselves. If you have any questions just contact us, and feel free to leave a comment.

360 Blog would like to thank J-P and Véro for hosting the party and letting everyone have a great time.

Some people would say that if you serve a cocktail in the wrong glass it’s hardly worth bothering. Here are the main advantages of using the proper glass. Firstly the shape of the proper glass will help to keep the ingredients from separating. Secondly some glasses offer stems which allows the drinker to hold the drink without affecting its temperature. Lastly using the proper glass with your perfect drink makes it esthetically appealing. In this guide 360 Blog will show you all the types of glasses you need for your perfect drink. We call it our Bartender’s Guide to Glasses.

The Cocktail or Martini Glass

This is obviously the most renowned cocktail glass. The martini glass, emerged in the Art Deco movement. It made its debut at the 1925 Paris Exposition of Decorative Arts as a clever twist on the goblet. Like most stem glasses, this Y shaped glass variety proved the perfect match for chilled cocktails, keeping the drinkers hand from inadvertently warming up the drink. The Cocktail glass gained lots of popularity in Europe with the martinis. Before proceeding to world domination following World War II.

The Coupette Glass

The modern Margarita is based on the earlier champagne coupe. This saucer shaped stem glass was originally used for serving bubbly. Legend has it that this glass was modeled on a women’s breast. It was originally designed in 1663. To facilitate the rimming with salt (necessary for Margaritas), the bowl of the Coupette was widened. This glass is also used for Daiquiris.

The Champagne Flute

This tall and thin glass has a cloudy history. It dates back centuries, with its tapered design reducing the liquid’s surface area and keeping champagne bubbling for longer. This glass only became fashionable in the 1950’s after the Austrian glassmaker Claus Josef Riedel, who began researching the different glass shapes and their affects on taste. This glass is the perfect match for champagne or champagne cocktails.

The Highball Glass

The Highball glass are suitable for the simple drinks with a high proportion of mixer to spirit. Not only are they an essential component of any home bar, but the title ‘Highball Drinks’ are know as bourbon and water, scotch and soda, Bloody Marys, and Vodka tonics.

The Lowball Gass

The term ‘lowball’, ‘on the rocks’ and ‘old-fashioned’ are common when referring to short, squat tumblers. As the name suggests, these glasses are perfect for holding ice and any spirit ‘on the rocks’. The lowball glasses are also popular for short mixed drinks such as Old-fashioned.

The Shot Glass

This is the home-bar essential, without shot glasses your home-bar is not a bar! The regular shot glass holds just enough liquid to be swallowed in a mouthful. Most Shot Glasses contain a thick base able to withstand being hammered on the bar after the spirits or mixed spirits within has been consumed.

The Brandy Snifter

The brandy Snifter stands apart from other stemware. Whereas most stemmed glass keep warm human hands off the chilled drinks, the short stemmed, bowl-shaped snifter invites you to cradle it in your palm, warming its amber spirits. A snifter should be no more than a third filled.

The Sour Glass

Unsurprisingly sours have been served up in all manners of glasses, from lowball to martini. For the experienced drinker who thrives on style, a standard glass does exists. This glass a great match for whiskey sour, pisco sours, and other citrus, sugar, and spirits drinks.

The Hurricane Glass

This glass was originally fixed on having the hurricane drink in it. Its pear shape is a homage to the hurricane lamp. Today this glass is associated with frozen and blended cocktails. A frozen Piña Colada is virtually unthinkable without it, and it’s often used for other cocktails of the Sex-on-the-Beach kind.

The Pousse-Café Glass

These small, narrow-stemmed vessels have a modified hourglass figure, making it easier to create layered drinks in them. The art of any layered drink is pouring the heaviest liqueur first and progressively layering lighter spirits.

The Wine Glass

White wine glasses tend to be smaller then red wine glasses, so use your judgment as to which will best accommodate the particular cocktail you are making.

The Irish Coffee Glass

The key feature or an Irish coffee glass is that it’s made of heatproof glass, which makes it suitable for hot cocktails such as toddies.

Then comes the other ingredients to make the Daiquiri a drink of your own. In this article we will show you how to make the Banana Daiquiri.

First you will need these ingredients:

- 2 measures of white rum
- 1/2 measure of triple sec
- 1/2 measure of lime juice
- 1/2 measure of light cream
- 1 teaspoon of sugar syrup
- 1/4 of a banana, peeled and sliced
- wedge of lime

What you need to do now is combine the white rum, triple sec, lime juice, cream, sugar syrup, and banana in a blender and blend until its smooth.

Next, just poor the mixture, without straining, into a chilled cocktail glass or a lowball glass and dress with the wedge of lime.

If you want something a little more refreshing add some ice to the blend and you’ll get a great frozen Daiquiri. You can also do this with any of your favorite fruit or combination of fruits. The results will be yours to discover.

However, remember to always squeeze your lemon by hand so that the oils from the peel mix with the juice and impart a sharp, intense flavor to the cocktail.

The History behind the cocktail.

The Daiquiri was invented by an American engineer who was working in Cuba at the turn of the twentieth century. This happened when he one day ran out of gin and he resorted to rum. Some say the Cuban locals had discovered this delicious drink quite some time before him given the prevalence of rum in Cuba.

To be noted, the Daiquiri was also a favorite of American writer Ernest Hemingway and President John F. Kennedy.

So I hope you enjoy this great drink and remember to always drink responsibly.
